Seems like that after the Windows' 10 Anniversary Update my movies started to stutter a lot. Also exiting kodi often results in a black screen, which can be recovered by temporarily unplugging the HDMI cable. Does anyone else experienced simillar problems? Is there any way to fix it?

Even after renaming my userdata and launching Kodi clean it's stuttering when I enable Adjust Display Refresh Rate

Adjust Display Refresh Rate has no effect on stuttering as I thought before. It's just less prominent.

Please disable pvr addons. The log spam makes it hard to focus on the interesting messages.

I've checked my test video in MPC-HC just to be on a safe side. The playback is smooth.

I also read on the Windows 10 forum that the black screen after exiting a full screen application may be something that Microsoft screwed up. But the stuttering is the main issue for me at the moment.

It's worth to mention my system is a clean install of Windows 10 As I chose to do a fresh start with the Anniversary Update.

Ok, I think I know what is causing that stuttering. It's the hardware acceleration. When I set the rendering to software movies play smoothly. Now it's in your hands devs to investigate why.
