I've been using Kodi on a NUC PC with my 60" TV and AV receiver to watch TV recorded on my Mythtv backend via the PVR Mythtv addon. Love it and will continue to use it.
What I'm currently trying to solve to how to get rid of DirecTV and/or CableTV all together. I'd like to make Kodi the frontend for that. Obviously, Mythtv solved my OTA TV stuff. Now I'd like to integrate my Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and SlingTV with Kodi.
At present I have to exit Kodi to run any of these services in a browser. I'm guessing it's a DRM issue.
Is anyone looking at solving this problem?? I know a Roku 3 has a lot of services integrated together, If they have a Mythtv app, then my particular problems are solved. Just have to learn a new interface.
