Hi,

I'm new to Kodi. I run Windows Media Centre at the mo. (I know :-)

I installed Kodi on my Windows desktop and its looked like a perfect replacement.

So, tonight, I installed the OMMC version on my RPi3.

It's working, but I can't seem to play my DVD archive.

My DVD archive is ripped on my NAS as exact copies of the DVDs, e.g. the NAS directory structure is :

\DVD\DVD_Title\Video_TS\Lots_of_VOB_files

When I point the Windows version of Kodi at this share, I get all the movies, and the "movies" screen in Kodi, shows the DVD cover, and loads of meta data. Exactly what I want ....

When I point the RPi version of Kodi at this share, I can list the files and directories under the "videos" - "files" tab. But I cant play any DVDs, and I don't get anything under "movies" ? It's like it hasn't recognised them ?

I've set the content of the directory to "movies" all the same settings as the Windows version.

Is there a restriction on the RPI around playing DVDs ?
