OS X How to launch Kodi
#1
I'm trying to find a way to launch kodi via remote control once I am already logged in OSX.

I've mapped all my other custom keys to meet my needs but I can't figure out what I need to do in order to launch kodi via remote. If it helps, I'm running kodi 16.1 on a Mac mini, my remote is the Logitech Harmony and I'm transmitting all the commands from the Harmony to the mac mini via a flirc.

I've already switched the settings within kodi (Settings->System->Input Devices-> Apple Remote to Harmony and Settings->System->Input Devices->Allow Start of kodi using the remote) but I'm missing the command or key press that will instruct OS X to launch kodi.

Can you please help me?

That setting is meant to be used When you use the infernal ir of the mac - it doesn't do anything with the flirc - normally i think the play or menu Button on a silver Apple remote would Launch kodi with that Setting turned on.
