This article is confusing the perfectly legal Kodi application with illegal 3rd party pirated streaming addons. Someone needs to ask them to rectify or take down

This is the British press you're talking about and they never let the truth get in the way of a story.

They have managed to: Quote

"There are many streaming apps on the market but Kodi is the best known at the moment. It's a media player that can be downloaded and used on devices to organise media. This is legal."

It's probably enough to keep the lawyers in bay.

Aye i saw this this morning, no one reads the Mirror anyway... do they!Huh?!

To be fair, reading the article, it's pretty accurate on what they are "reporting" in regards to Kodi, it just the typical British press headline that is designed to hook in the readers....

The Headline:

"First man arrested over box for watching Premier League football games for free"

in the content relates to....

"Authorities say it is illegal to modify kits to receive this material. There have been similar raids the one that led to the arrest of the man in Teeside."

PS..... Brian Thompson clearly knows what he's talking about! Nod

they changed the article since its release. It mentioned nothing of addons as the illegal component at first
