Kodi 17 with Windows 10 can't find all the right movies
#1
My library gets me some movies totally wrong. For example my Alien.mkv is associated with a film called Aliens 3000, Batman and Robin.mkv is the same title of the 1949 film, Highlander - Director's Cut.mkv is Highlander II - Renegate Edition and so on. I can rename the film title in the library but the year, artwork and info remain the same. How can I fix this?

Naming video files (wiki).

You can go into the movie/show information via the context menu and then select refresh to choose the correct item, but it's usually simpler to get the file name right in the first place to help the scraper pick the right database item.

Helps a lot ot put the date in parenthesis after the title, e.g. Starwars (1988)
