I'm using Kodi 16 in a VuPlus Solo2 enigma2 box (sat+dtt tv decoder)... it runs so well, but when changing Kodi Skin it gives me always an error...

Anyone here knows if it's possible to change the skin of a Kodi running in an enigma2 box?

Can you give more details on the exact error, and if possible gather a debug log (wiki) of a failed attempt at a switch, upload it to pastebin.com or somewhere similar and supply the link they will give you here?

Again me.... I'm able to install different skins to Kodi on vuplus solo2 with BH 3.0.2.G... but I'm getting errors in the main Movies 'screen' like "error loading bookmarks" "error loading new movies links" etc...

Same on TV Shows main screen...

The latest added movies or tv shows Cover are not shown...

same answer, we really need a Debug Log to be able to help ;-)

perhaps you should try to ask this question on the vu+ support forum...
looks like your system is missing some python libraries, causing addons to fail.

I've just pushed an update to Skin Shortcuts git so that cProfile is no longer required (unless the script is actually being profiled) which will at least allow that script to run on your system. However I come across such systems without all of the Python default libraries with reasonable regularity and agree with Ronie that the ultimate solution is absolutely to go back to your provider and encourage them to provide a complete Python implementation.

Thanks BobCratchett... I've deployed your skin.shortcuts update into my Kodi (./kodi/addons/script.skinshortcuts) and now I don't get script.skin shortcut error, but still getting Error toolbox script ... I think it's related to PIL python lib...

BTW: i've already asked vuplus people to add all python libs... in vu-plus community forum, but no anwser..

I may be mis-remembering here, but if I do remember correctly then on Linux the Python used is the system version - rather than the version built along with Kodi - so, and if I'm remembering correctly, it's worth checking if you can manually update the Python version on your system.
