xbmc detects if a disc is inserted into the dvd drive. i added a second dvd-rom drive to be able to read cd-r media and for better speed. this external drive does not have a connection to the special yellow cable of the original internal dvd drive. that means, that the xbox cannot detect if a cd ios inserted or not (in the external drive).
i always need toput a dummy cd into the internal drive, when i want to play something from the external drive. this was not necessary in xbmp. it would be nice if i could disable the cd detection or simply ignore the "empty" state by klicking on a new "force" button.
