i've got two suggestions that i think will improve the speed&interface of using mp3 playlists:
1. decrease loading time: when a playlist is opened, it sometimes takes a while (espcially on a play list with many files, like >600+). maybe each file is being verified before the playlist is shown on screen... so maybe it would be better to load the playlist, pick a track to play start playing it, and then verify the other tracks in another background thread, or even as they are played...
2. saving playlists: when a playlist is loaded, and you change the view to see the playlist, instead of browsing on the hard disk, maybe you could show the name of the currently loaded playlist at the top of the screen, or "untitled playlist" if it's a new one. then after making some changes, and selecting "save" playlist, the current playlist name can be the default file name for the save, so that you can quickly add a song to the playlist and save it without having to type the name again.
