I have recently taken to xmbc and found plugin for everything I need. Unfortunately, four of my things I would like to be able to do, don't have addon. If someone could advise me how to make plugin that opens an external application, and a plugin that opens a website.

Yes, chrome launcher would work fine. Thanks. Is there any way to add bookmarks to the xmbc favourites tab? Also, on my earlier point, how would I make an add-on display another application? I know you could use advance launcher, but I'd rather not have to navigate lots of menus to open certain programs
