Hi,

I have Kodi 16.1 and 17 beta2 running on Windows 10. Works file with files on local disks.

I have some media on a usb drive connected to Fritz Box router. This works fine as a source. I can map the source as UPnP and can play files from it, but the option to "set content" does not show up when I add the source. So I cannot add this to movies or TV shows library.

Any idea how to fix this?

Use smb instead of upnp.

UPnP content can not be added to the local Kodi Library as the UPnP server should be providing the Library service since that's the whole point of using UPnP.
