Hey folks,
I just tried using my custom built music pc with Intel i5 and internal HD graphics HDMI output for streaming iso blu ray files and it worked very well! I had been using a different windows pc (Both running Win10) while the other pc has a Nvidia GT430 card with HDMI out. Both HDMI outs are going into a Yamaha CX-A5000 preamp which decodes the blu ray Hidef codecs (TrueHD and DTS-MA).
Question is this.....any reason to doubt the Intel internal output versus the Nvidia cards? Any drawbacks or downside to using this approach? All along I had been under the impression a separate Graphics card was required for this type of thing. On a side note, I only stream movie files (mostly ISO rips) and do NOTHING else within Kodi, very basic stuff.
