Hi, it's time for me to change my old DVD player , which Audio System Suggested to use with Kodi on Android box?
I would like to have a 5.1 system that switch on automatically when the Box is switched On and I would like to control the volume from kodi.

Have you a solution?

An AV receiver + speakers would be the ideal. (HDMI sound).
Do you already have the Android box? If so does it has optical out port? If no optical port then your options are sound via HDMI or a cheap adapter (headphone jack) or soundcard (usb) supported by Android or by LibreElec.

Hi @Veronica Thank you for you advise.

So, to get the volume control via KODI, 5.1 sound and auto-on of the audio system, then I should connect the Android BOX to the AV receiver via HDMI and then AV Receiver to the TV also with HDMI, I understood correctly?


At the moment I already have an Android Box with optical output.
