I set up my system from the scratch and using the latest nightly. Now the crashes came back...

I too have AMD graphix and having the same problem. Zero to 3 hours into HDHomerun fullscreen mode switches back to desktop and minimizes Kodi.
TV show sound continues to play fine.
Clicking the minimized kodi app from the taskbar causes it to instantly die.
(ps. last night it it played 5 secs of buffered video from the spot it glitched)

I've tried reinstalling AMD 480x graphics drivers clean and Kodi 17 clean.

One trick I've recently learned, watching TV in windowed mode (and click the maximize button), things work perfectly fine for hours and hours.
Just the annoying title bar at the top.

So my guess is fullscreen mode is the issue. Maybe with buffering. Maybe synchronizing audio with the video (causing video to puke)?

Since this is HDHomerun, I run NO PVR. Plain jane everything.

So they fixed this in one of the builds and I stuck with that for a long time. Once the official release came out, I upgraded to that, and YUP, the crashes are back!!
I just downloaded the latest nightly beta, and it's still crashing. Doesn't matter what app I'm using, it's still doing the same thing.
