when i select the instant "Recording" option.on the guide, I'm regularly presented with an error message. Trying on a different Chanel and restating Kodi does not resolve this.
A complete reboot does.
The Kodi log has the following error messages
12:14:54 T:7136 ERROR: PVR - PVR::CPVRClient::AddTimer - addon '127.0.0.1:connected' returned an error: the command failed
12:14:54 T:7136 ERROR: PVR - PVR::CPVRClients::AddTimer - cannot add timer to client '24155': the command failed



Can someone point me to the cause and resolution.?

You'll probably need to post the kodi.log, with debug logging enabled, and the NextPVR logs, then I can look into it for you.

You'd need to drop the NextPVR logs onto dropbox or onedrive or google drive or similar, and let me know the download link. Alternatively you could post the question over at the NextPVR forums where you can just add it as an attachment to your post.
