Single channel DNLA problem happening again
#1
Can't tune in the Golf Channel (593) with DNLA. Tried it on both of my systems, both just give me a "buffering" display but no video/audio. If I change from DNLA back to having the channel re-muxed, it works OK. Also the HDHR addon can display the channel fine, so it's not a DRM problem.

Here's the ServerWMC log and kodi log. The kodi log shows the successful attempt using re-muxing and then the failure when I changed back over to DNLA.

I've rebooted both systems and the HDHR Prime, but the issue persists.

There isn't much to look at in the log because when kodi is in dlna mode serverwmc just gives kodi the url to your tuners for each channel. When you watch the channel kodi is opening the url directly, serverwmc is not involved so there's nothing in its log.

According to the kodi log, this is the address kodi is opening for channel 593
09:57:48 T:1496 NOTICE: DVDPlayer: Opening: http://192.168.1.2:5004/auto/v593

Which looks okay to me, but you can check it on your system and make sure its right. I also don't see in the kodi log where it reports a problem, which is strange.

If the url is correct - just like before - its a mystery to me, but if I had to guess I'd say it's a kodi problem. When you get this problem can you open the dlna channel directly by adding your tuner as a video source in kodi?

Yeah, the URL is correct and I can open it using VLC. Opening the device in Kodi works also. I created a thread in the main PVR section because I'm also thinking it's not anything with the back end server. We'll see if there's any response there.

Do you have full debugging on in kodi when you generated the log? They will probably need that, if you every do get a response.
