I'm using 2.8.3.1 of TMM.
When I use the filter "Missing artwork" in movies I don't have the issue: Show are in the list that have art work (Poster, banner, fanart).
Some shows do have actor thumbnails and some don't.
In the list there is a check mark in the column for artwork.
Huh

Any ideas what is missing to cause some shows to populate as missing artwork?

Update: Issue was some episodes didn't have thumbnails

Have you checked for episode thumbnails of latest episodes or season posters of these shows?

the display in TV shows is hierarchical; if _any_ episode of a TV show is missing artwork, the show node is also being displayed

That looks to be the issue, thank you. Wasn't clear to me.
