Can't access data on NAS drive via Kodi
#1
Every time i try to access photos, music or videos on my Synology NAS drive, I get a couldn't access remote server error. I have enabled NFS for all three folders on the NAS. When I to add sources in for example, music, nothing shows up in the NFS section and the NAS does appear as a Upnp device either. Can anybody help?

Try to read up in the nfs link in my signature - there should be a howto for nfs on synology nas. If it doesn't show up in the nfs section you can try to add it manually as nfs://<ip of your nas>/<name of the exported folder>

Thanks for your reply. I tried adding the NFS paths manually, and whatever i did caused the diskstation to be recognised and the files are now available, although not apparently via the added NFS paths. Could be that shutting down and restarting the mac since last night has sorted everything out.
