Hello,

I installed a new homeserver based on Linux Mint 18. It is supposed to my NAS (when I got all the drives I need) and it is hooked to my tv for using Kodi. Because of that, I want it to auto start when I boot the machine up. I saw the article in the kodi wiki, however when I boot up, I still end up in the login screen. Do I need to turn on autologin for kodi to start automatically?

if you are using a login manager, then yes.

Does Mint use systemd? If you disable the login manager and consider using a solution similar to how Arch does it: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Kod...ne-service
