Hi,

This has been posted before, but it's still an issue.

https://kodi.tv/download/ contains no hint nor link to a Kodibuntu image.

Google was not help either, I had to dig through a lot for forum threads until I found a download here: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/kodibuntu/


There are several wiki pages with Kodibuntu instructions:

..and these of course instruct people to goto https://kodi.tv/download/ to download a kodibuntu image!


So can we please plug this gap?
Just add one little link to the dowload page that saves people like me 20min of digging.

We could also edit the wiki so we do not tell people to download that old image.
I think a manual install of minimal Ubuntu plus some config as explained in the forum is probably faster to get a recent version running nicely. I'm not sure if we are so updating Kodibuntu.

Probably is, but I bet it would put off a lot of people. A ready made image is much simpler for a lot of users to install but I fully understand if the team don't want to supply or support this option in the future.

I'm not saying we don't want to, but as far as I know noone is actively maintaining it.
