Very glad this is my first post. First of all, let me confirm if there is any service (Like Mozilla Maintenance Service) that takes care of the application. Is there anyway to make Kodi auto update itself?

How Kodi is updated is totally dependant on which platform you're running it on.

From analogy to the Mozilla Maintenance service I'm guessing you're on Windows. Perhaps if you have the Windows store version installed this would auto update?

this damn nonsense idea that the apps themself are supposed to have update features nonsense from the windows world NEEDS TO DIE. if your os doesn't provide means to update software, it isn't doing its job!
