I am running Chroma 2.5.7 on SPMC 16.4.2 and when I install my build from zip file, everything looks normal on startup with my customized backgrounds for a few seconds, then I get the message "Skin Shortcuts - Building Menu" and all my custom backgrounds get set to the default background. I have skin helper service Ver 1.0.100 and script skin shortcuts ver 1.0.12 installed. Can you suggest where to look, to understand why this is suddenly happening as it was working fine last week. My image directory is set to $SPECIAL and is listed as a source in File Manager. The settings.xml file in my addon data folder for the Chroma skin lists the custom backgrounds yet on initial startup, they still get reset to default??
