Hello out there,
since v#1113 LibreELEC does a "quiet" update on my Raspi2, means it shows no output on the screen like "tar archive found" etc. This messages were helpful to see if the update process worked well. What can I do to get them back?
Regards, oliaros
Hi Milhouse,
I do use the newest version of the VPN Manader add on (4.1.9) and the newest Milhouse build.
When I switch to the settings of the add on I am not able to open the add on filter rules. There is no pop up window showing up and the system crashes and reboots.
Is there someone who has the same issue and can provide some help?
I will check for the log file later when being back from work.Thanks.

More likely since #1112, but you've only noticed it since #1113. Can you post your config.txt.

any comments about this problem?

These issues are really hard to identify. I'd be very surprised if it's anything specific to these test builds, and that it should affect all platforms, so you may be better off filing a ticket on track.kodi.tv and/or starting a new thread in the OS Independent sub-forum.

but test builds kodi-17 worked without problems.

@Milhouse Do you have a timeline for bumping the tvh42 addon in your LE 9 builds?  I'm looking to test their new category handling functions that were added in a commit last week for use in my zap2epg addon. Unfortunately my current build environment is LE 8.2 (although looks like I should switch over soon.)

--- also , did the crazycat dvb addon get removed?  I don't see it in the addon/services folder.
Current Kodi addon projects: zap2epg, sd4tvh and tvh2kodi (tvh config from inside Kodi)
Testing ATSC single and dual tuners on RPi3 and the occasional s905 box
If you like my work you can buy me a coffee!
I often have problems with mkv files on my USB 3 hard drive
When I boot with the hard drive, some files are not playable and kodi restarts (crash)?
When I plug in the hard drive everything is ok again.

Your log doesn't have debug enabled.
But really this sounds like a hardware/kernel issue so output of dmesg after the failure may be of more use.

since some last builds kodi crashes on videos watches.
The video runs about 10min and just stand still, sometimes starts kodi afterwards but not always.
this happens with different videos.

Crashlog: http://sprunge.us/jSdF
The issue is still there.
If the issue occurs RPi freezes completely, I do not have access via ssh I need to restart RPi. After restart no problem, the video goes through ...

Maybe it has to do with NFS connection?
It is a pain to reproduce, because after the RPi restarted every video goes through ...

The interesting thing is that the videos run exactly 10 minutes +/- a few seconds.

What I can still observe is that the ssd disk works all the time after RPi freezes (LED flashes).
LibreELEC boots from SD card but system is on an SSD harddrive installed.

I've no immediate plans to switch, as the purpose of this thread isn't really to test bleeding edge builds of the Tvheadend addon (which often cause problems with Kodi, if tvheadend master even builds).

Maybe someone else can provide master tvheadend builds (ask on the LibreELEC forum?)

Yes, because it needs an update - not sure what the plan is for that at the moment.

Thanks, confirmed. This seems to affect only RPi1 and RPi2 (and possibly RPi0), but not RPi3. Will look into it.
