v18 LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0)

Nope. No useable stack trace from crashing thread in there.
Hello everybody,
I've a question for the pros Wink
When I remove a serie from kodi, it remove all files and the folder (exactly what I want).
But if I remove a film, it leaves somes files and the folder.
So my (maybe dumb) question is :
is it normal to have two different results from the same action depending on where you do it ?

Regards.
(sorry to bother you with a non raspberry related question Wink  )

Using LibreElec 8.2.2 with Transparency on Intel Nuc (same behavior with estuary)
Hi,
First of all, thanks for your work! I will receive my new raspberry soon, and I have a small question:
I am interested in the retroplayer option in Leia and was wondering if, in its current stage, it is usable or not stable enough to enjoy it? I don't see much feedback about it there.

For the moment I used the stable 8.2.2 on raspberry 2 and I am so happy with it.

I changed the power supply and got a new crash this night: http://ix.io/E1N

Thanks for the suggestion. I believe this is a different issue.  It works on previous build, and is now broken. The same issue exists with music (mp3)and LiveTV, so is more audio based than video based if that makes sense.
I have the same issue, you can "enable" the sound it you change the volume in kodi while the movie etc. is playing. You have to do it everytime you play a new file. I also reverted back to the #0104 version.
Here is a link to a log from 0104. This one works correctly.

@Milhouse, is there anything else that I can provide?

i do not have a crash log because it is not a crash.

Then provide a debug log. No debug log, no issue.

Knowing when the first build when this stutter issue started would be useful.
(2018-01-11, 02:33)tjost Wrote: maybe you try a new linux kernel. a Beta version?
Sure, you can try a 4.15-rc kernel.
https://github.com/LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv/pull/2275
as I mentioned before it startet with LibreELEC 9 first version
i tried the 4.15-rc kernel and on this build my SSD1306 OLED Display Add-on doesn't work so I skipped this build.

i didn't get a result from "cat /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log | pastebinit" so I copied it on my server. log

Not as far as I can tell. I don't know what the issue is, but hopefully someone else does.

I can't seem to find the post when you mentioned this, can you provide the link in case it includes other useful information?

So you're saying this issue started over 12 months ago? Can you test the final LE8 test builds, prior to the switch to LE9? I'm surprised others aren't reporting this.

Good debug log

As someone suggested earlier, that when playing the video, you could change volume within the settings?
Hi,

What ive seen while using omx on the latest builds is the volume seems to be muted when media starts, one press on the volume up button and the sound returns.

Regards Bucky.

Yes, I can confirm this is an OMX issue - with OMX disabled/MMAL enabled there is no problem. And it does start with #0105.

with the build #0111 no more dropping sound in videoplayer, just OMXplayer still with the mute sound at the start

omxplayer will be fixed tonight in #0112 (thanks all who reported, and @popcornmix for fixing).
