LiveTV is working again with 0812
Philips TV with Kodi 20.2 with IPTV --- Orbsmart 500 Android 21 alpha/beta as Online-radio/TV in the kitchen
Yes i can confirm that live TV is working again with the latest build #1208

I have a question about a feature that was ask for a long time, the teletext subtitles is not manage by kodi, i was able to find a way that it works, i explain :
- if i turn on the videoplayer debugger (with all information on the refresh rate, etc) when i play the video with telext subtitles it plays fine
- if i play the same video without videoplayer debugger, no subtitles appeared

Can you find a hack that not show the debugger info but do the trick to activate the teletext subtitles? because in europe, many programs is encoded the subtitles like this (it works well in VLC but we do not have VLC in kodi)

Hi Popcornmix & Milhouse,
Thanks very much, that has fixed the Purple and Green artefacts in all the video files I have tried. :-)
Thanks for all your hard work.

Kevin.

You could try running bcmstat.sh -ZAD d30 and see if you can correlate the memory allocations to your activity.

Also test with a clean .kodi - no extra addons. If the problem only occurs once you install Emby, then contact the Emby developers.

That could be hard since I do nothing. Just leave Kodi on for a couple of days or week.

But I will try with a clean Kodi.

Thank you.
This time Kodi didn't freeze totally, but crashed instead. I have a clean .kodi, only added a Samba share, and two subtitle services. Unfortunately, since I had a clean .kodi, extra debug information wasn't turned on.

Kodi have been unused for a couple of days. Now I started a video, and after a few seconds later Kodi freeze and then restart, not LibreElec only Kodi. Since it takes time for the error to occur I don't have the possibility to update to a new release every day. So this is some week old. Even without debug I hope maybe there is some hint in the log.

Are AV1 videos supposed to be playable? I tried a couple of samples and they just crash Kodi.

Not at the moment, and maybe never. Currently AV1 is crashing Kodi on RPi3+: http://ix.io/1uXM

You can however play AV1 successfully on at least an i5 NUC with latest LibreELEC - sample video files here.

For example, to play the first 1280x720 sample:
text:
texturecache.py playw "https://www.elecard.com/storage/video/Stream3_AV1_720p_3.9mbps.webm"

Edit: My i5 Skylake NUC is unable to play the 1920x1080 AV1 video sample without stuttering and the system fan kicking in, as the CPU load is high. But 1280x720 isn't an issue. (Very) early days though. More optimisations and bug fixes to come, I'm sure.
Well it seems that the devs are moving things forward Smile .
Hello @Milhouse ,

Latest tvheadend "service.tvheadend42-9.0.117-1212~milhouse-v4.2.6-115-ga1a94dc.zip" don't work.
Can someone confirm the issue?

Edit: Also no connection to the web interface
