I'm currently running 0404 trying to resolve a buffering issue. Pretty much any large x264 or VC1 file will buffer right away. Log attached with an example.

This happens on 9.0.1 as well, I can't seem to fix it. Tested memory, tested bandwidth with iperf, I'm at a loss.

This is the test build thread, so post a log from the latest test build not 9.0.1 - ask on the LE forum for 9.0.1 support. These builds use a different kernel and different version of ffmpeg, so not comparable.

Also try testing with a clean build without all the Plex crap, I gave up trying to find where you started playback due to all the Plex-related noise. Just enable debugging, reboot, reproduce the problem, upload the log - don't to anything else that adds noise to the log like scraping new content. Also test playback of a local file from SD card to see if that is any different.

If you tested your bandwidth, what were the results? And what device is this, RPi2, 3 or 3+, I'm guessing RPi3 based on the frequency but would rather not have to guess.

Not sure if the addon needs another rebuild?

P.S.: For some reason I find two versions of the ScummVM addon: 2.0.0.108 and 2.0.0.0.109. I believe the latter is the newer one, but kodi tries to auto-update to the 108 version, I guess since it's the "newer" numerically. The issue described above happens with both versions.

I’m having the exact same issue with scummvm on libreelec 9.0.1 rpi3 with scummvm 2.0.0.4.115 and Libretro 1.10.114

I'm using a RPi3 B+ with a Cirrus Logic Audio Card (CLAC). The last few versions of the nightly builds that I've tried, #0407, #0410 and #0411 (I didn't try #0409 or #0410), all have a problem in that the CLAC drivers don't seem to be loaded properly until a further reboot after the update sequence ends. The problem is quite obvious as the two LEDs on the CLAC are both lit up until the extra reboot - normally for playback only the green LED is lit. A side effect of this is that the CLAC has to be re-selected as the Audio Output Device under the System/Audio output device settings, otherwise PI:HDMI is selected. Everything is OK on subsequent reboots.

Note. Hias may already have seen this on his RPi/CLAC setup.

I recently tested with build 0409 and now with build 0411 but everything works fine here.

Can you try to find out with which build this started and post your config.txt and dmesg from a failed start?

I just went back to #0407 - all OK
update to #0408 - all OK
update to #0409 - all OK
update to #0410 - not OK, CLAC LEDs both on, system/audio device = PI:HDMI

So build #0410 seems to be when this starts. (Unlike what I wrote in my earlier post - blame my failing memory)
