I'm running an NUC7I5BNK, and am still experiencing intermittent audio skipping over HDMI, have you experienced any issues? The new MESA drivers have helped, but I still experience audio cutout (<1 sec) every 5-10 minutes.

Are you using the HDMI port? have you experienced any issues?

Thanks!

Hi, no I am not having any audio skipping issues. Works fine on the NUC7i7 and on my NUC7i3. I use the latest bios (00046) and HDMI firmware 1.66. I also use bitstreaming not passthrough on audio. And yes I use HDMI.

Thank you, I never bothered with the HDMI firmware given it is a windows only update! Short Version, the 1.66 firmware seemed to fix it, I'll know for sure in a few days.

Longer version:

I didn't try this because it is windows only and per intel - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloa...d-NUC7i3BN:

Quote:This Firmware update is only required if an HDMI 2.0 device is being used. An HDMI 2.0 device must be connected when you run this Firmware update.

Well, I don't have a HDMI 2.0 device, and I was able to apply the update fine (after instaling all the nuc drivers within windows 10).

I backed up my libreelec install, wiped the drive and installed windows 10, updated the firmware, and reinstalled libreelec. Seems to work fine now.

I did have a but of a DOH moment... I backed up my install but that only helps if you copy it off the local hard drive before formatting... sigh.... It took me about 3 hours to get everything reconfigured, imported, etc.Oo

Thanks again
@Milhouse,

Went from 525 to 530, another API version change for addons?

Code:
21:15:53.312 T:140140335933184  NOTICE: ADDON: visualization.projectm version 999.1.2.4.2-#0525-milhouse is incompatible
Probably, I'll see what I can do later today, assuming the addons themselves have been updated to be compatible with the latest Kodi.

@khaoohs I've rebuilt the projectm addon and uploaded a new #0530 version here: http://milhouse.libreelec.tv/builds/addo....projectm/

Can you test it and let me know if it is compatible now or not (as I'm not able to test this myself). There have been no updates to the addon source code since 22 May but it may be that it just needed a rebuild due to the changes in Kodi API/ABI.

If this works I'll rebuild some of the other visualization.* and screensaver.* addons.
