Hello, I was using the kernel module lirc_xbox until build #0712. In the next builds (including #0716) I can't found the kernel module Sad Has the linux kernel drop his support for this module? (lirc_xbox is the usb support for the original xbox ir receiver).

Thanks in advance.
Yes, LIRC support is changing in favour of in-kernel support, and we've disabled LIRC_STAGING in the latest builds which disables LIRC_XBOX support. As I understand it this is going to happen by default in 4.13. Not sure if there's anything that can be done to reverse this - maybe time to get a new IR receiver - 15 years isn't a bad run...

Hello Milhouse, is it possible, that your inpustream did not accept other decrypter? I will use my Sky Ticket addon (https://www.kodinerds.net/index.php/Thre...post393896) and must use a decrypter. But InputStream Adaptive say it found no decrpyter
ERROR: AddOnLog: InputStream Adaptive: No decrypter found for encrypted stream
With oficial Version 8.0.2 it run very nice.
Did you install the widevine decrypter library? I know Netflix and Amazon are working but I've no idea about Sky. A lot has changed between Kodi 17 in 8.0.2 and Kodi 18 in these builds.

I have no idea what those instructions relate to (they're seriously out of date for a start) but those instructions are not what you need to do to install the Widevine library and at least get Netflix and Amazon working with these test builds - just follow the instructions in Note #6 of the first post in this thread. Although now that you've already done weird things on your system I'd suggest you run "rm -fr /storage/.kodi/cdm" before following the instructions in Note #6.

Alternatively, if you're following installation guides on Kodinerds then you should get your support from Kodinerds - I can only give you support for what is provided in this thread.

Ok with your instruction it's run very nice. Thanks.
I did not see your indruction before.

Hey,

I`m using an Intel Apollo-Lake NUC in combination with a pulse-eight internal CEC adapter (firmware v7). CEC is working fine except the fact, that I can`t open the cec-settings under input-settings. Is this behavior known to somebody?

If needed, i can help logfiles.

Thanks in advance,
Manuel

pls consider including in your build workaround patch
https://trac.kodi.tv/attachment/ticket/1...w-wh.patch
for issue https://trac.kodi.tv/ticket/17516 , at least until it's fixed properly.

I will however include it in a one-off test build, then you can give feedback on the ticket or progress with a pull request.

Build #0714x: Generic

@Milhouse,
Sorry for the late reply, had some days off.
Build 0714x fixes the problems for me.
Can you tell me how to "progress with a pull request" as I found that trac tickets are not always working as I suspect (posted the same problem (https://trac.kodi.tv/ticket/17477) in May and no one responded).

Blush I asume you're very busy and I've no idea how much work is involved, but Is it possible to create just one more patched build now Libretro and Netflix are working for x86 and RPI2? Blush

Thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't have time to deal with pull req.
Feel free to apply patch and submit pull req.
For that you'd need clone https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc repository and then clone your repo locally, apply patch to local repo, then push change to github and send pull request to https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc from there.
Milhouse: Is Nvidia fix planed for the problem that you have also experienced (black screen when sync to display is selected)?

Thanks Milhouse for this build. Been using it on one of my kodi boxes in my home for a couple of days now. Is it possible to use a normal keyboard to control emulated games? It does not seem to work...
