If it's indeed a BIOS issue they should be able to put a bit more pressure on Intel than a few forum users that can easily be ignored.
Well, it appears that after posting the fact of Ubuntu certification to the Intel Community, they have reconsidered. I've given them some config info - hopefully, they'll pass it on to an engineering team.
Thanks for the update! Fingers crossed they find a solution and this gets fixed soon.

so long,

This is the bug I opened for the stuttering issue: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107111

Chris Wilson has been incredibly helpful. He's proposed a 5th (and hopefully final) fix for the stuttering, and would like one last check in case of a regression before (presumably) proceeding upstream.

Could you test build #0708b: Generic

#0708b is the same as #0708 but includes this latest anti-stuttering fix, so please report if the stutter issue is now resolved, or if there are any continuing issues (or new issues not present in #0708).

Many thanks!

@lwrcase (or anyone else with stutter, other than @matt Devo) are you able to verify #0708b is OK? The current revert patch will be dropped from #0711 tonight so it's important there's an upstream patch to replace it.

sorry for the delay here. been dealing with AC issues in this heatwave.

#0708b is good here.

Thanks both - I'll replace the watiboost revert with the updated patch from #0708b in future builds (including #0711). Please post if you notice any further issues.

I've just updated to latest build and my TV isn't liking the video output from Kodi of SD DVB-S live TV channels. I get unsupported signal error and no video. HD channels are fine. I was on a late May build before this and was ok. Is this something simple I'm missing here or do you need logs?
Always logs, and if possible in backwards through releases to find last working build.

This will help get quicker results for you.

Refresh my memory. I am experiencing issues in live TV with Tvheadend where there will be split seconds of black screen that happens all the time during shows. Not sure if that is considered stuttering as stated in some other posts. I looked back through the thread some but could not find if this was an issue with LibreELEC or Tvheadend.
Music visualisation = crash

Normal or not fixable FOAD?

Probably just the usual shit and the add-on needs a rebuild. Can't really say for sure without a crashlog, or knowing when it started to crash.

Usual shit is the response I was hoping for.

Hopefully Kodi gets buried by some NXG none generic dedicated softwares soon that isn't reliant on media focused on piracy.

Keep up the good blogs!

tldr;
Media player ftw

Dude these people do this work for free based on passions or their desire.

You have ZERO right to belittle this project or the people who pour their heart and soles into Kodi.

If you want stable the get off bleeding edge so you can have your needs satisfied but if you want to stay on the edge expect bugs and be humble people are helping when they have time.

TLDR
You’re a dick.
HTPC(s): All running LibreELEC

Just ignore those folks ... in germany we say: perhap he has shitten badly (or not :-))
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
Did not notice any black flashes on live TV this morning on build 0713.
