I record the program Chicago P.D. but when I try to get it to scrape, it fails to find it in the TVDB. The problem seems to be that the database is looking for the folder name to include the trailing '.' in the name but windows won't accept the trailing '.' in the folder name. Each time I try to rename the folder by adding the dot windows removes the dot at the end of the folder name.

How can I fake it so the scraper recognizes the folder without the '.' ?

PS - This used to work and has just started to be a problem in the past couple of weeks.

does it work with just Chicago PD ?

One of the reasons why I use a media manager like Tiny. If it doesn't like the name, it will give you a pick-list to choose from, then you can just select the correct show and it will auto scrape the rest, then you just tell Kodi to use local NFO.

Had the same issue... renamed to Chicago P.D and scans fine.
