Is there a way to transfer database, settings etc. from my Windows Installation of TMM to a Linux install of TMM?

you can copy your settings (config.xml), but with different paths (you will have on your linux installation) all instances in the database will be invalid.

yes, path differ from windows to linux
on windows you might have
\\NAS\movies\... or Z:\movies\...
on linux this is different (how you mount your NAS):
/media/NAS/movies/... or /run/media/<user>/NAS/movies/...
