Kodi runs slow after a few hours of use on ubuntu
#1
On the newest version of ubuntu with a NVIDIA card my kodi begins to run slow thru all the menus. The cpu spikes to 100% until I reboot it and it works fine again. I have the exact same setup of kodi on an odroid and a fire TV with none of these problems.

Someone else has to be having this issue. This isn't a complicated kodi setup.

Not sure if this can be part of the reason but the way my partitions are setup are:

1 this is a dual boot windows/ubuntu setup

System reserved (windows) 367MB
Windows 8 192GB
FAST 63GB Ext4
FAST 998MB Swap

Should I increase my swap partition maybe?

This server has 8GB of memory but ubuntu sees it as 6.8GB. Not sure why, but I'm betting shared video memory somehow. Even though there is a dedicated NVidia 750ti.

6.8G is more than enough for kodi.

What does top tell you?

So I finally had a chance to play around with this. My log is attached. 18:16 is where the issues start after I have left it alone for a bit.
