TV Show files
#1
This is probably a bit of a newbie question but here goes. I've got Kodi installed and am trying to add files. I can add movies no problem but I am having trouble adding TV show episodes. I can add the files folder but they don't show up anywhere. Plus no TV show tab shows up on home screen. Movie tab shows fine. Am I doing something wrong, why aren't these files being recognised, especially as TV episodes. Any help will be appreciated.

Did you set the contetnt to tv shows when adding the source? You can do this afterwards aswell by right clicking the source and select "set content" and let it scan the folders afterwards.

Do you mean name it TV Shows? So when I add it in video files, I name it TV Shows and use the TVdb scraper.

You have to set the content type as tv show when you add the video source.
