Most of my sources are SMB shared from my main PC running Windows 7 64 bits.

Sometimes, about once a week or once a month, i can't reach these windows SMB sources from my others Kodi clients.

It isn't a kodi related issue because i can't reach my SMB shared even from another device and app like esexplorer from my android smartphone.

I have others servers running on the same PC (Plex, Mediamonkey) and they are always working when i have the SMB issue. So i use Plex (UPNP) as a workaround when i have the issue.

I tried :
Change server and workstation services settings : "reboot auto when issue" , manual reboot
Open command prompt and type "net use * /delete" to reset all existing SMB/CIFS connections

That doesn't resolve the issue.

The only way i found for now to resolve the issue is to reboot my PC.

Any idea on what could be the issue ? or at least a way to resolve it quickly when it occurs, without reboot my pc ?

This isn't a general Windows support forum it is for support of Kodi installed on Windows systems.
