Sound notification bar keeps popping us every so often. Tryed disabling mouse and joystick and did not help. Please Advise!!!

Came to the forum for another problem, but saw your post.
I had the same issue last night. If I reduced the volume a bit, it went away. If I maxed it out, it stayed displayed.
Don't know if this will help you, but it worked for me.
