I would like to have the ability to sync the movie between two location i.e. if I'm away from home and want to sync a movie with my girlfriend. This would work by sharing something between the two systems (a link, a token, etc) where one party generates it and the other party receives it. This would allow the systems at each location to connect and sync actions such as play, pause, rewind, etc so it's like the two parties are watching the movie together. This has been done for Netflix (http://showgoers.tv/) but plugins for Kodi (Exodus, etc) fill in the gap for the terrible selection from Netflix.
