so i backed up the userdata - folder.
Then i dl the beta version 7. When i installed it over the existing application mac os asked me and i replaced the application.
System Startup was ok - there were two messages shown (upgrading database and upgrading settings).
Using Version 17 Beta - so long so good. I was very unsatisfied with the performance of the video display. It did not really stutter but there were definitly out of sync problems. Tried different videos. Then i watched the same movie using just vlc on my mac - no problem at all with some performance to spare (have an old mac mini).
So i wanted to go back to 16.1 and wait for the release of 17.0. i installed 16.1 - when asked replaced the application and started up.
The playback issue is gone. So far so good.
Problem: I use aeon nox as skin. As you see on the two screenshots - many of my menu-entries are gone.

Please tell me how to troubleshoot this.
