OS X [resolved] dual screen window problem
#1
Sad
Hello there !

need some help.

I use Krypton (RC just out), I've got a little problem.
I play with a mac mini (latest os) with a monitor (1920x1080) and a 4K TV (but keep it in 1920x1080).
I tell kodi to use the TV as it's default screen. Kodi 16.1 do the job great. I can watch movies via kodi on TV and working on monitor in same time.

But since Krypton version, when I start Kodi I get a strange grey window floating on my monitor.
see image capture first screen

Kodi 17 RC runs good on TV but it remained this window on the monitor. I treid many things in preferences without success...

Anyone else ? Help !

Thanks.

Try

1. hit cmd + f to go from fullscreen to windowed
2. move the windowed kodi version to the tv
3. hit cmd + f again to go fullscreen

Does that get rid of the ghost window?

hello tanks for your response.

before I wish you a happy new year ! (and to community too !)

I tried what you told me.
It helped but after a cycle of close/restart app, the problem back again !

very very weird...

I just started experiencing the same problem after I upgraded to Kodi from January 1 (nightly build). I then tried to downgrade to other nightly builds and release candidates, but the ghost window will not disappear. Has anyone been able to solve this problem?

hello

please to see that I'm not alone !
sad that you have the problme too...

I've tried all things you said.
But can't fix it.

I think that Kodi can't handle the dual screen as before.
I will see with the next RC.
