So im not sure if this is the correct "subforum". Please move the thread if so.

My specs:
- Sony Ag9 oled
- AndroidTV 8
- v18.4 kodi

When playing a video (tried both 1080p and 4k files) if you go into settings and video settings - there is options to zoom.
There are manual zoomamount and preconfigured modes like "110% zoom".

Neither setting decreases the black bars, which i assume the setting is for.
It zooms but keeps the aspect ratio.

In the main settings / player settings there is a "decrease black bars" setting, that does nothing either.

If it matters, Im using the plex addon.

I haven't tried this as IMHO stretching or cropping the OAR is a pretty awful thing to do but there are some options that can be changed for this

Ok so for anyone else reading this, it didnt work because i used the Plex addon. With the core Kodi i can zoom
