OS X mouse problems in later versions
#1
Hi there,

--- UPDATE: see end of this message

Yesterday I installed the latest version: kodi-20170101-112fc81-master-x86_64.dmg

Problem:
Immediately I noticed that I couldn't reach the right 1/3 part of the screen with my mouse, which resulted in that I couldn't access subtitles etc. The mouse pointer just stopped moving at 2/3 of the screen. It didn't hang but there's was an invisible border.

I tried:
- windowed mode; that worked, but when I set it back to full screen (setting) the problem came back
- tried another skin: the same problem persisted (in both Confluence and Estuary)
- tried another resolution: the problem stayed, but the border the mouse could access moved a bit

I tried going back to previous versions:
- kodi-20161231-08255bc-Krypton-x86_64.dmg -> problem persisted
- kodi-17.0-Krypton_beta7-x86_64.dmg -> problem persisted
- kodi-17.0-Krypton_beta6-x86_64.dmg -> problem gone!

So from beta 6 to 7 the problem occurred.

About my system:
Mac mini, x86_64
Mac mini (Late 2014)
graphics: Intel Iris 1536 MB

Update:
I found a workaround on the forum:
Changed video to windowed mode, then clicked the green full screen button on that window and voila, it works.
Doesn't actually mean it's fixed, but it's a working work-around. Hope you guys can use this info somehow.
