Well i did just buy a new TV with 4k and HDR support so its time to get a new HTPC.
Im not sure i remember 100% correctly but if i recall i was told somewhere (or just read it) that intel gpus where locked as some specific refresh rate..
Is this true and is it still the case? and if it is what would the drawback be?
Im thinking about getting a Intel NUC NUC7i3BNH or Intel NUC NUC7i3BNK as they sport a Intel Core i3 7100U and if i understand it correctly they support playback of netflix in 4K (as it depends on some HDMI DRM thats inside the CPU).
Are there any other drawbacks of the nuc or the intel CPU/GPU that i should know about?
