How's this? I have a bluray drive and cannot pop a disc in and play. In his context it will play an ISO decrypted and ripped to a drive but I would hardly consider that a bluray player.

In the context the question was asked (decrypted isos) it is certainly true.

I haven't tried it myself for a while (I rip to mkv) but kodi should be able to play encrypted blurays, they cracked them quite some time ago.

Kodi has never been able to play encrypted bluray natively. To be sure of this I put one in and it will read the disk like file explorer but will not play.
