A couple things:
I am trying to setup my movies library in Kodi with aeon nox. When I setup a shortcut to favorites in my movies tab, and I click on the movies tab, it takes me to a screen that says Channels, favorite movies, favorite shows, tv shows, etc. If I create a submenu within the same movies tab to the same movies shortcut I ha e linked in favorites, and I access the submenu, it takes me to my movies library fine.
Why can't I access my movies by simply clicking on the movies tab without the need for a submenu.

Also, within my movies tab, any iso movies I have only play if I right click the file and select scan to library.
How do I get these files to play by selecting play?

Looks like you didn't scan your movies to the library,
Check the wiki how to add media and scan everything to your library.
Then it will work like you suggested.

Are you sure that you have your setup of your movies correct? I mean, Kodi is pretty strickt in the setup of your files. Can you maybe provide a screenshot and / or debug log?

If you click 'edit' and 'full edit' you should see an option to delete a post.
As for pics, I don't add them very often but when I have they're usually links to photobucket or similar.

I looked at your screenshots,
Something is missing,
I don't see the part where you define what's in the path you defined.
please also provide a full debug log

A debug log is always helpful. . What I noticed is that you are working from Videos which makes me think that you haven't set the content for that path and therefore didn't scan your library.
