I just did a fresh install of LibreElec (7.0.3) on my Pi1 and cannot get 3D MVC to work meaning it sends 2D to my display. I have tried all the suggestions I found in other threads including adding the "hdmi_force_edid_3d=1" to the config. If I rename files to include "filename.3D.MVC.mkv" it does trigger the 3D mode on my tv but it is played in "side-by-side" stereoscopic format which totally messes up the display (it is not in 3D).

Here is the log while playing the MVC sample from the wiki. First, playing "3D-full-MVC.mkv" and then with it renamed to "3D-full-MVC.3D.MVC.mkv". Thanks.

Can you test LibreELEC v7.95.1 (Krypton beta).

Thanks, I was able to get it to work with 7.95.1. But the video freezes and doesn't seem to recover when I try to skip ahead so I might try to go back to 7.0.3 and see if I can get it to work there (I think I might have had a setting messed up).

I went back to 7.0.3 and was not able to get MVC to work so I am now back to 7.95.1 where MVC works but the video consistently freezes when I try to skip ahead by chapter. It never seems to recover. I have the Pi1 overclocked to "turbo" with a wired ethernet connection and I am passing through DTS audio to my AVR. Here is the log: http://paste.ubuntu.com/23897505

I just tried 7.95.2 and have the same issue. Is there something I need to do in advancedsettings.xml for the Pi1 to avoid the freezes or am I out of luck with the Pi1 and MVC?

Same issue in latest test build for 18.0. Does the log I provided before give any clue or do I need to supply something else?

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't really know what I'm doing with these settings but I tried the following and it didn't help:
