OS X Deinterlace Problem
#1
Hi, i've upgraded my kodi to krypton final build and i've encountered a playback problem.
the deinterlace option isn't available on any video source.

I've tried to force kodi to use deinterlace editing the guisettings.xml but the change isn't persistent. when kodi restarts the guisettings file is overwritten with the default settings.

My setup is an old Macbook core 2 duo late 2010, but it is capable of hardware h264 decoding.
I'm also noticing that the playback is taking my cpu to 100%+ usage, getting kodi interface to be laggy.

what would you suggest?

Thank's in advance.

When video decoding is done by software there is no problem. The problem appears when video decoding should rely on hardware.
