can't find any infos about this...can anyone help me?

is the DD/DTS passthrough is working fine with the apple tv 4?

...and one more question since atv4 hasn't the optical output: can the passthrough work using the spidf output of the tv [atv4 -> hdmi -> tv -> spidf -> avr ] ?

Tvs don't pass through signals from hdmi to spdif normally. Passthrough is working on atv4 in general but it is not the recommended way nowadays (multichannel pcm is - but it needs a hdmi capable amp)
