I just installed Aeon Nox Silvo on Kodi 17 and am trying to setup animated backgrounds. I have a gif I'm using for background for weather, however the gif only shows a split second of the animation. So it's just a skipping mess. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a setting or something this is limiting the time the gif will play causing it to keep skipping?

No I have various Gif's playing as backgrounds with nil issues.
Is it ANS from Git ?
Have you tried going with a fine comb in settings to see if there is anything limiting it ?
is this issue with ALL Gif's or just a single one ? try replacing that gif with another to see if you could reproduce the issue.
also maybe you could post a video link for review.
