I've developed and IPTV system based on XBMC, LiveTv and IPTV Simple.
The hardware is RaspberryPI and the OS is Linux OpenElec
All the IPTV streams comes from the local network and they use the udp protocol on multicast.
All is ok if the UDP stream si present.
If the streams interrupts when the player is active it's still possible to change the channel, passing to the next or previous item of the playlist.
In this situation the back key works as expected.
Problems come when we try to open a stream that is not present, is not streaming.
XBMC became unresponsive it's impossible to leave the video page, the back key works after several attempts.
I've tried with no luck to put <playlisttimeout>3</playlisttimeout> on advancedsettings.xml
Thanks
Paolo
