Hi,

I got a very weird problem with Kodi not showing the correct fanart and icon in my add-on.
I'm new to writing Kodi add-ons, in fact it was the first I wrote, so I used the video add-on tutorial and the Hello World tutorial as my base. I got my add-on working, but it doesn't show the fanart.jpg and icon.png I provided, but the one from the Hello World tutorial. The weird part is that I double- and triple-checked my plugin folder and the Hello World fanart that Kodi is using doesn't even exist there.

It's not a huge deal, but it still bugs me and I want to know why it happens.

It's a caching issue. It will resolve itself, but if you want to do it quick, you can use texturecache maintenance utility.
