but I guess that is just for python.... when I use containerSetsortmethod(1) which should be name nothing changes. I am using a button ... this is just something I am testing.

only sort methods that are supported by the current container will work think.
for instance, the movie list in the library can only be sorted by:
- title
- year
- rating
- my rating
- mpaa rating
- duration
- date added
- play count
